Romantic Mystery Thriller “To Love” Premiered November 19

Adapted from the novel of the same name, Chinese romantic drama To Love <最初的相遇，最后的别离> follows former narcotics inspector Yan Jin who gets caught in a web of lies after falling in love with Ji Xiao’ou, a coffee shop owner. After becoming a prime suspect in a murder case headed by Detective Zhao Tingwei, Yan Jin comes to a realization that he must choose between honor and love.

The 40-episode series, directed by Cao Yiwen (曹译文), stars Lin Gengxin (林更新) as Yan Jin, Gai Yuexi (盖玥希) as Ji Xiao’ou, and Du Chun (杜淳) as Zhao Tingwei. 

Qin Hailu (秦海璐), Yu Rongguang (于荣光), and Wei Zi (巍子) also stars. 

To Love premiered on Youku on November 19, 2020.
