  1. Chingmy and may look like they r in their 30s. Sherwin, cherries,Joey, Teresa , Carina and Monica all like great too. The others do look like any other women their age with make up on and slimer bodies.

    1. @jimmyszeto Yup, agreed…whoever put this article together was lazy, as many of the actresses don’t even belong on this list and for the ones that do, they didn’t even choose good pictures to illustrate their point. Can’t stand these types of poorly written/poorly compiled articles…

  2. Some of the listed artists look youthful, some have aged well and a few not so, attempting to conceal under the tons of powder.
Cherie Chung has aged but she has aged gracefully and beautifully and still a goddess in my eyes.

    1. @ak47
Nah, the writer did get a few correct. For example Anita Yuen looks great for someone in her 50s. Oh wait!!!, she is 48yrs old. Not in her 50s then?

  3. to be fair, you got to have to gone through with menopause to qualify. women age significantly after they are through with menopause, so comparing someone whose 49 not quite menopausal with someone whose 54 is like comparing a teenage girl and a middle-aged woman.

  4. I have to say Gigi Lai, Chingmy Yau, Rachel Lee, Michelle Reis, Monica Chan, Joey Meng still looks great for their age. That’s right what about the rest such as Irene Wan, Candy Law, Yvonne Yung, Flora Chan, Athena Chu, Strawberry Yeung? Catherine Hung, Winnie Lau?

    1. @cutie777 I agree with you. I was getting ready to say the same thing. Either the title has to change or the people you present / speak about needs to be in their 50’s….

  5. This is more of a “Where are they now?/How do they look today” article than a true all these women look amazing. They are all better looking than the average 40-50 year old women, but they were also all better looking than average 20-30 year olds.

I do miss seeing many of them onscreen. So much charisma that is lacking in today’s actresses.

Article the laziest I’ve seen yet. Writer picked as many 50yr olds as she could think of and included a 40yr old and then just found the first photo of each actress she found on google. Like you said the well above avg looking Asian 20 year old will have to go through hell to look too aged at 50. Might as well do an article on actresses who not aged well at 50. Can be more selective….

  6. I agree with the headline “19 Hong Kong Actresses Who Still Look Amazing in Their 50’s”, especially with makeup, but I don’t agree that “the xx-year-old actress still looks the same as she did 30 years ago”. It is impossible for a woman to look the same after 30 years. If you take a closeup photo of an actress, just check her eye areas and you will easily find that she has aged. The eye area is the easiest area to expose a woman’s age.

    1. @orchid123
i agree. i find it funny how reporters always say that. not just eyes, you could get surgery or a very good moisturer to fade it a little. when one smiles, jaw and cheek area always show one’s age. that’s why you notice vivian chow never face her face more than a grimace.

      1. @m0m0
Agreed. Drooping eyes are the first sign of aging of a woman, then cheeks and jaw also show the age very easily.

I guess if you are a celebrity and you want to keep your face to look young, you can’t help but use botox or plastic surgery.

  7. Michelle Reis & Gigi Lai looks like they have botox if you follow their Instagram. Does that count as they aged naturally? Some other might too. Irene Wan definitely has botox.

    1. @joyce
omg, i agree. esp gigi, she looks very unnatural. michelle looks strange too, maybe b/c she’s just skin and bones.

    2. @joyce
I think they both used Botox too. What a shame as Gigi would have aged very gracefully if she did it naturally instead of using Botox to mess up her face.

  8. Oh no, Adia looks so puff up that i do not recognise her at all!
How in the world did she end up in this list

    1. @conan2209 lol and that’s not even a recent pic of her. that was from a tvb series i think. when you are hitting 50 it’s hard not to puff up. haha lol….

  9. Who can be forever young? No one but some do age better than others. I find that aging naturally is best because if you mess with your face then it will come back at you.

By the way, Kitty Lai did not age that well so why say that she is looking younger and younger? She has the type of face that ages fast.

Teresa Mo does not look the same as she did 30 years ago. She aged decently but of course looks a lot older but looks good for her age.

Whoever wrote this article needs their eyes checked.
