BLACKPINK’s Jisoo To Lead in New Drama by “Sky Castle” Director and Writer

YG Entertainment has confirmed that BLACKPINK’s Jisoo will be starring in a new JTBC television drama directed by Sky Castle director Jo Hyun Tak and writer Yoo Hyun Mi.

Tentatively titled Snowdrop, the series will be Jisoo’s debut TV drama as a lead actress. Her first brush with acting occurred while she was still a trainee with YG Entertainment, appearing in a guest role for the 2015 TV series The Producers. Last year, she appeared briefly in the Netflix series Arthdal Chronicles.

In related news, BLACKPINK will be making a comeback in October with the release of their first full-length studio album. They will also be releasing a new single featuring Selena Gomez.
