Cecilia Cheung Grateful for Her 3 Sons

Ever since her divorce from Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒), Cecilia Cheung (張栢芝) has taken on the responsibility of raising their two sons. In 2018, she secretly gave birth to a third son whose father is still unknown to the public. Despite the stress of being a single mom, Cecilia feels very grateful for having three sons who give her so much happiness.

Even though Nicholas is paying a large sum of alimony, Cecilia is still working hard and frequently partakes in different variety shows in China. She would even join shows that push her physical limits. However since her children are studying in Hong Kong, she usually makes it a day trip and comes back right away in order to be able to say good night to her children before they sleep.

Posting a short video on social media that looked back on 2019, Cecilia shared, “2019, I’m 39 years old and I have three adorable children. Acting is my job, but motherhood is my lifetime career. There are 2475 kilometers between Beijing and Hong Kong, and the flying time is three hours and fifteen minutes. I’ve lost count how many mornings I’ve left the house and was flying in the air while the children were asleep. Nevertheless, every night I try my best to rush back before they sleep in order to tell them good night in person. I try my best to do this in order to give them a sense of home and safety.

“I have been at the top and have fallen hard to rock bottom. Between all this bumping around, I’ve learned how to slow down and really enjoy the little things in life like a babie’s laugh.” Cecilia is a mother who prioritizes her family and only parents will truly understand the sacrifices made for their children.

  1. “I try my best to do this in order to give them a sense of home and safety”, well said.
If she really did what she said on “rush back before they sleep in order to tell them good night in person”, then her children are few of the luckiest children to have such a great mother, an effort that not every mother willing to make. This is a true mother love, RESPECT!!!
