Wayne Lai Celebrates 47th Birthday with Overseas Fans
Wayne Lai Yiu Cheung celebrated his 47th birthday with fans from Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Macau on May 4th. Wayne’s fans reserved three tables at a restaurant to have tea together. Since fans from Harbin and Australia were unable to attend, they sent their birthday gifts to Wayne.
To thank his fans for their kindness, Wayne promised to film better series. On the evening of his birthday, Wayne decided to celebrate with his family and high school friends. Fortunately, Wayne did not have to work and looked forward to a carefree evening.

Looking at fan group photo, Wayne seems to appeal to a lot of women in their 20s. There was only one prominent male fan in the back row.
Frankly I never thought of him as appealing to female audiences. I always thought he is an actor’s actor, so appeals to both genders. Maybe the organisers deliberately chose female fans to up his sex/idol appeal?
The day he gives red roses to his adoring female fans in such events, you will know he is a heart throb! 🙂

its an asian reflex thing i think. i mean if ppl r taking ur photos u gotta cover up cause they might blackmail u or ur soul might be sucked up by the camera… ughhh yea… 😛

Happy birthday to Wayne! I am glad that he was able to share it with his fans and with family and old high school friends. I am glad that he has kept in touch with them all these years. I wonder if any of us still keep in touch with high school friends anymore??
