Tavia Yeung is Trying All Methods to Get Pregnant
Married in 2016, Tavia Yeung (楊怡) and Him Law (羅仲謙) previously said they are eager to become parents. Him even said that they wanted to have two kids within three years. But nearly three years have already passed, and the couple hasn’t announced any good news yet.
During this time, the 39-year-old actress left TVB and reduced her workload to focus on recovering her health. Working at the station for 17 years and experiencing grueling filming hours that often lasted 20 hours each day while filming a drama, Tava’s health worsened and she suffers from rheumatoid arthritis on her spine, which sends sharp pain from her neck through lower back during rainy and windy days.
Since last year, Tavia has declined filming projects to improve her health and prepare for pregnancy. It was reported she has been trying all methods like seeing a renown doctor to improve her chances of pregnancy.
However, Him is often busy working in Mainland China The two are separated often due to Him’s work commitments. Despite their long-distance relationship, Tavia stated that their relationship is stable, and they are not rushed to have a baby.
But fans are still curious when the couple will announce pregnancy news, especially with many former TVB actresses giving birth lately. The two of the past top five fadans, Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) and Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) already have two children each.
But things may be looking more promising with Him’s re-shooting of Forensic Heroes IV <法證先鋒Ⅳ> delayed from July to August. This gives the couple the opportunity to spend more time together. Him was also spotted going to the gym frequently to get his body into shape too.
Him said, “Many people approached me to give me baby-making tips. But I don’t want to give myself too much pressure. It’s going to be harder with more pressure. I need to relax. Instead of just praying, real action is still needed.”
When asked by the press about her progress, Tavia shared, “Not yet, even if I want one. I will announce when there is good news.”

I think the media is more anxious than the couple lol… anyway don’t stress them
it could be the male too. since he’s really not around much, how do you make babies if the dude’s not around? i am sure that there are other resorts if they really start trying.
@m0m0 When Him is in China filming, Tavia frequently flies over to visit him and stay 4 to 5 days at a time. This helps shorten the time they are separated. They look happily married.
You see this is the problem if a guy really wants to have a family they should married someone who’s younger I mean I don’t have problems with a guy married an older woman but if they’re thinking not want any kid then that’s extremely not a problem at all. They’re not rushed to have a baby at her age? I hope it’s not true hopefully a good news soon if not they can always consider adopting a child like some of them did just like Angelina Jolie even she has a kids of her own she still adopted a few kids.
