Kenneth Ma and Roxanne Tong’s Backstage Interactions Warm Fans
Over 100 Hong Kong artistes affiliated with TVB attended the station’s 53rd anniversary gala celebration on November 19. Among the star-studded guest list included celebrity couple Kenneth Ma (馬國明) and Roxanne Tong (湯洛雯), but the two rarely interacted or talked to each other on camera.
On the red carpet, Kenneth walked with his Big White Duel <白色強人> costar Natalie Tong (唐詩詠). During the big group photo and filming of the gala intro, Kenneth stood center on the first row, while Roxanne stood center on the second row. Despite standing close to each other, Kenneth did not interact with Roxanne. The two acted as if they didn’t know each other. Many fans expressed their disappointment in Kenneth for not officially acknowledging his girlfriend in the public.
However, clips and photos from behind the scenes showed the couple closely interacting. When the cameras go off, Kenneth would turn around and stand protectively next to Roxanne. A clip showed Kenneth bending down, seemingly to be helping Roxanne with her dress. They then held their hands to walk backstage. Kenneth smiled awkwardly at the camera, while Roxanne struck a victory pose.
Kenneth and Roxanne confirmed their relationship via social media in June.

I’ll bet my last dollar that they will get married. They are so well-suited and the chemistry between them feels so genuine. I never got that vibe when he was with Jacqueline. Enuff said….

Does anyone think she is pregnant? When a woman suddenly is gaining a lot of weight – that is one possible reason.

@dramas4me That would be interesting, and would make sense since being heavier is detrimental to a HK actress’ career. However, this isn’t the first time Roxanne has gained weight, so it could just be a yo-yo effect as she diets off and on.

Her weight issue keeps coming up (poor thing!) and she seems to just take it on the chin. She doesn’t seem to get all moody and emotional about it. Personally, I don’t think she’s pregnant. If she is, I think there would have been some effort to hide it (for example, by wearing a gown with a flair skirt, flowing sleeves etc). I can’t imagine them not wanting to hide it with their bosses looking on that evening. Just a guess….

KM is the definition of, can talk the talk but can’t walk the walk. He was/is outspoken about wanting more kissing, romantic scenes way back when. But he’s so shy snd against pda irl. I’m not saying it’s either way, just pointing it out.

She did gain weight but went from quite underweight to normal weight now. Dress choice was a bit unflattering. They look happy and cute.
They make a very cute couple. I just want a more official picture of them together because it’s so weird when they use pics from their drama from a few years ago. Lol

I feel bad for women because if we gain weight then people will think we’re pregnant. It’s even worse for actresses because they’re in the limelight.
