Reborn Rich Returns for Season 2

Fans of Reborn Rich are in for a treat, as work on season 2 has recently been confirmed, after a two and a half-year wait!

Hitting 26.9% at its peak, the thrilling 2022 drama was rated the favorite South Korean television program with a record-breaking score of 16.6%, ensuring high anticipation for the return of an equally compelling next season.

South Korean entertainment agency Artist Group officially made the exciting announcement that research and development for Reborn Rich Season 2 has already begun. It revealed that season 2 is set on the global stage and will follow a multinational company, illuminating the overseas trajectories intertwining the successes and romances of its power-hungry main leads. While building on the success of season 1, a brand new story arc, fresh cast, new characters, and an expanded universe will be introduced.

With season 2’s wheels set into motion, Artist Studio had already acquired drama production company RaemongRaein last year. RaemongRaein was responsible for co-producing the original 2022 broadcast of “Reborn Rich.”

The solid fantasy revenge drama, incorporating themes of reincarnation and real-life chaebol stories delivered through its protagonist Song Joong-ki was the surprise hit of 2022.

Adapted from a webtoon, Song Joong-ki is joined by Lee Sung-min, the two bringing to life the story of the male lead, a faithful servant who is murdered by a chaebol family and later finds himself reborn as its youngest son. With his knowledge of the future, he ascends the ranks to execute revenge through a takeover and eventually run the company.`
