Angelica Lee Stays in Hong Kong to Monitor Husband Oxide Pang

Although Angelica Lee (李心潔) has forgiven husband Oxide Pang (彭順) for cheating with model Liddy Li (李悅彤), Angelica remains distrustful in their marriage. Previously living in Malaysia to take care of Oxide’s daughter from a previous relationship, Angelica spent most of the year away from the Hong-Kong-based director. After the affair surfaced, Angelica decided to move back to Hong Kong to monitor Oxide for the time being.

Oxide has yet to officially break off his relationship with Liddy, who has been persistent in not letting go. When they met, Liddy already knew that Oxide was married but thought their love was what mattered the most. When Oxide ignored Liddy’s text messages on wanting to meet up and talk, Liddy grew impatient and decided to fly to back to Hong Kong to see Oxide in person.

And insider disclosed, “Liddy and Oxide have been together for [a year] and it’s hard to break it off. She already stated that she doesn’t need a title and when they were together. Oxide had promised to take care of her and said that he no longer has feelings for his wife. Back in Beijing, Oxide still responded to Liddy’s texts, but lately, he said he is busy and avoids Liddy. She knows that he is trying to keep away from her so she decided to return to Hong Kong and confront him.”

Angelica Will Film For HKTV

In 2010, Angelica married Oxide and sacrificed her career in order to focus on the family. Two years ago, Angelica turned down HKTV Chairman Ricky Wong‘s (王維基) filming offer. However, since Oxide’s extra-marital affair surfaced, Angelica may feel the need to spend more time in Hong Kong to watch her husband. She has agreed to film HKTV’s Internet drama The Storm <風雲>, replacing Sheren Tang (鄧萃雯), who had turned down the offer.

When Angelica appeared for her costume fitting sessions, she quietly excused herself from the dozens of reporters waiting outside. Despite avoiding questions and cameras, Angelica appeared in a good mood – evidently slowly recovering from her husband’s highly publicized affair. However, when posing for pictures, it was noted that Angelica was not wearing her wedding ring.

Receiving $100 000 HKD per episode for a total of 15 episodes, Angelica will pocket $1.5 million HKD from HKTVB. Other actors in The Storm include Liu Kai Chi (廖啟智), Sek Sau (石修), Savio Tsang (曾偉權), and Gregory Wong (王宗堯). Filming is scheduled to commence this month but it is unknown when Angelica will join the set. Ricky Wong said he will let the public know when Angelica will officially return to work.

She is there to make her husband uncomfortable and have the tabloid track her husband around instead of having to waste money and hire a private investigator for her future divorce.

If you have to ‘monitor’ your husband, you don’t really have a marriage.

I agree but having been with him for so many years, maybe it is not easy to just let go. Letting go is easier for some people than others.

          Hi HeTieshou,
Yes, agree, it’s easier to be said than done. When you’re with someone for a long time, it’s really hard to let go.
But if the news is true that she wants to motitor her husband, then it’s tough on her. She wont have peace of mind, always having to think whether the husband will betray her again.

I hope the media was just playing up. I personally dont think she’s that type of person who wants to watch over the husband. I would find this very tiring and wont want to be in such position and hope she’s not.

Agree…..monitoring means the trust between husband & wife no longer exist, a public facade that will fool no one but herself…so just divorce that SOB & start anew.

The sad thing is loads of wives ‘moniter’ their husbands. Anita Yuen is another.

To me, IF anyone needs to play prison warden, you’re kidding yourself.
The mice are only not playing because the cat is always around.

That’s why such wives show up on work site unexpectedly, or hang around.
          1) to establish their wife status as a subtle warning to the other women around her husband 2) to moniter interactions on site.

          To nomad 822,
But alot of ppl disagree that anita yuen actually monitors her husband. I only remember her husband enjoys her company very much.

I feel both anita yuen and chilam’s relationship is really different from this one. theirs are compatible, husband/wife but also good friends. If she’s really monitoring her husband and chilam doesnt feel stressed up then it’s okay.

I noticed alot of times one of the spouse will be stronger in character.

LOL! One stubborn girl. Maybe it runs in her family. Daddy wasn’t a good example for her to follow. Girls do look up to their dad and maybe Oxide resembles dad in many ways. 😀 🙁 LOL!

Yup, even after the dog is neutered, it’s still horny. Trust was never there in the first place and she thought she can change him. The women change but not the men. When a person is so stubborn it blinded their judgements. Cheaters and gambling addicts picked the women that can easily be manipulated. 😀 🙁 LOL!

Emotionally and mentally, it’s difficult to let go. But then again, it’s self denial thinking that the husband is going to be a ‘saint’ from now on (this is a second affair). It’s painful but could be done and it’s better for her own self esteem and respect because the trust is gone. When she’s in bed with her husband, can she stop thinking about him and the other woman ??Wake up, dump him and get half his fortune *

I just dont understand why so many ppl kept wishing that angelica divorces her husband. To be honest, there are a lot of men out there that cheats, if you’ve a boyfriend/husband, they might be cheating, you may not know. I’ve male friends, most of them cheated their wives, but their wives know nothing.

It’s her marriage, if angelica lee is fine her husband strayed and she can forgive him why are ppl kept wanting or wishing they divorce.

There is a chinese sayings that literally translate that you can teach ppl to beat a child, but never teach husband/wife to split.

From what you said, what if wives cheat instead of husbands, without the husbands knowing? People would label the girl as a ‘s-l-u-t’, etc, and when it comes to husbands cheating they would only be called a ‘player’.

I know we don’t have the right to tell Angelica what to do, but we have a right to express our opinions and thoughts on what should be done. Again, this is not the first time Oxide has cheated and I think they should divorce so they can both move on with their lives rather than monitoring one another, etc.
