BLACKPINK’s Lisa Tested Positive for COVID-19

It has been a very busy year for South Korea’s BLACKPINK. They celebrated their fifth anniversary in August, and have been focused on solo activities with Rose and Lisa releasing their single albums. Although all members of BLACKPINK have been vaccinated, Lisa tested positive for COVID-19.

Their management company, YG Entertainment, issued a statement and confirmed that Lisa tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently quarantining at home.

YG also stated that they will be providing full support to all of their staff members in order to ensure their health and wellbeing.

Although the other members of BLACKPINK, Rose, Jennie, and Jisoo have not been in close contact with Lisa, they obtained PCR tests and were tested negative for COVID-19. Although Rose was originally scheduled to attend an event for a jewelry brand in Seoul, it was cancelled.
