Eliza Sam Shares Dieting Secrets

Earlier in her career, Eliza Sam (岑麗香) was adored due to her baby fat. Along with her sweet smile and cheerful attitude, Eliza’s cuteness won the audience over and was endearingly touted as “Princess Heung Heung”. However, recent photos of Eliza generated much concern from fans, which showcased her thin frame and protruding collarbone. At the time, Eliza attributed her weight loss to her busy filming schedule.

Appearing at a promotional event wearing a pink floral tulle dress, Eliza’s features were again noted for his sharper appearance. On her dietary secrets, the 33-year-old actress shared that she often drinks fruit juices and smoothies as a way of losing weight and keeping fit.

Many speculated that her successful diet was due to her intake of flax seeds. Eliza shared, “I do eat flax seeds in my diet. I occasionally put them in my smoothies and other meals, but I don’t solely rely on that. Besides, not everyone will enjoy it. There are a lot of healthy food options on the market these days. You have to try and see what is suitable for you. If you try something and there are no results, then try something else.”

In addition to watching her food intake and diet, Eliza also exercises often. Rather than lifting weights, Eliza instead practices stretching often. “I basically will do it [stretch] whenever I have time. Stretching not only helps me stay slim, but also stimulates my mind and improves my posture.”

    I used to like Eliza’s acting but when she got thinner her mouth became really unnatural when she talks.

  2. I didn’t think she was chubby nor had “baby fat.” She was already slim and had a healthy image then too. Now she’s like another HK anorexic girl. She doesn’t look healthy. But if she IS healthy, then good for her.

    She looks much older now too. Her new image doesn’t fit the bubbly characters she portraits. She doesn’t seem natural when speaking her lines BUT she does seem like she’s at least trying and taking criticisms and improving on them.

  3. She lost her bubbliness. She lost the it factor. There is no dieting secrets except TVB order: you weight must be only double digit range. She was already very skinny, now she looks skeletal. Her secret is simple; starve herself.

  4. I don’t know why she saw the need to diet till she looks like Grace Chan. She looks terrible now. She was a tad chubby but looked so much better. Now she makes me think she’s sick with some incurable disease. Why can’t her hubby or good friends knock some sense into her? None of them look anorexic like her.

  6. Round face does not equal chubbiness. She was cute and happy looking before. Skeletal thinness does not suit her.

      Everyone actress follows the same timeline. Can look at Kenix Kwok for example. Round face but not fat eventually becomes shape pointed face and bony features. Not the best idea since extreme thinness brings more wrinkles and seems to look more aging.
