On Sunday, the cast of TVB’s new comedy drama Miscellaneous Cops <雜警奇兵> hosted a wrap-up party at a seafood restaurant. The main cast, including Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎), treated the crew for dinner.
Jacqueline’s next big project after Miscellaneous Cops is the blockbuster Deep in the Realm of Conscience <宮心計2·深宮計>, which has already started filming. The 28-year-old actress will be starring alongside her rumored boyfriend Kenneth Ma (馬國明), who also plays her love interest on the show. Reporters teased Jaqueline about being impatient to meet her lover, to which she replied, “Who’s my lover? I’ll be meeting with [co-star] Annie Liu (劉心悠) today!”
Any progress with Kenneth? “No!” said Jacqueline. “I’ve been busy with filming recently.” (He doesn’t like to take initiative, doesn’t he?) “We’re all like that!” (Shy maybe?) “Probably. Ask him!”
Jacqueline has already received the script of the episode where her character first meets Kenneth, but they haven’t started filming the part yet. Jacqueline said she finds their romance interesting, saying, “Some unrequited love. Some awkwardness, like that.” (That’s like you guys in real life!) “Really? Maybe you guys are just following the script! Our story is very interesting. I also like my story arc with Annie.”
Will you two have a kiss scene in the drama? “I don’t know yet! Ask the producer! I don’t know our ending yet, but I look forward to reading it.” (We’re also interested in your ending in real life.) “I wouldn’t know that! But nothing has changed.”
