Asked by the media about the rumors at an event, the actress responded with a smile and said, “Do you think it’s possible?“ Defending Lang Lang’s father by speculating that the news might be an online rumor, she wrapped up the matter saying “Before this, I didn’t even know who (Lang Lang) was, now I know that he is a great pianist. But I don’t take (the other party’s) career into consideration when I choose my boyfriend, for me there’s no difference between someone who plays the piano and someone who pops cotton”, and added that she is attracted to those who have “a manly disposition” and a “slim face”.

I like Lang Lang and attended a number of his concerts when he performs in my Country yearly… But he likely appear in more varieties shows to further develop his career in China. With the pandemic, many people have made changes to their lives..I am happy to see him on telly often. Those that criticise will criticise anything and everything.. that is their hobby. So, just ignore them.
There is a team that is really targeting LYF now. Only because she’s getting all these attention from her currently airing show. There was no attack in the past years because her films didn’t fare well, now that the spotlight is back on her there are suddenly all these black materials. What a title to give here when the two stars do not even know each other? It’s so hard to find dirt on LYF, let’s just find a person she doesn’t even know and create rumors. I bet the next rumor is going to talk about Chen Jinfei, her own mother used to date that dude and he is her godfather, and she gets accused of dating the very man dating her own mother. If she’s ugly with 0 talent I might believe rumors saying she slept her way to get stellar roles but she’s way too beautiful for any director to look pass, also possess way too many talents. There’s nothing to do other than being jealous these days.
I suspect the negativity is coming from HK freedom fighters resuscitating their displeasure with her for supporting the police during the chaotic times.
If they’re that patriotic they wouldn’t be watching a single Chinese citizen’s stuff bc they’re all under the Communist regime. Sounds more like they’re targeting her specialties that she ain’t good at anything but just lucky with a pretty face and being rich. She grew up with a single mother who worked hard, why are people so jealous of other people’s success?
I don’t like the way how this article is written. It sounds as deliberate effort to put LYF down for the biggest part of it. Plus it oozes misogyny. I like Lang Lang and appreciate his art, I also believe that he found a great partner in his wife but pointing out that his father says ‘Our Lang Lang will marry a princess’ is insinuating that LYF is not good enough. Than without further adieu the article is rushed into conclusion that Lang Lang became reality star among classical musicians. I am not sure if writer got lost in an attempt to create scandal and click worthy article or is it simply poor translation of even poorer text but I don’t like it. Both LYF and Lang Lang are masters of their trade and lived good lives without scandals. They are worthy of much better article.
Isn’t this old news already? I don’t get the point in constantly bringing this up, plus she already responded she never had a crush on him. I feel like once an actress/actor gets famous or makes a big comeback with a drama, netizens always like to bring them down with these type of news

First, this is old news. While I think LL and his spouse look pretentious on screen, such old speculations prior to his marriage should be left behind. What’s the point of bringing up again.
I don’t quite understand how these parents and families can think so high and mighty of themselves. Father of LL and weren’t LH’s parents and grandmother behaving in similar manner? And if papa Lang really think that the classical music world is more prestigious than entertainment circle, perhaps he should ban his son from earning in variety programs now.

By the way in the bigots eyes, being a classical musician is 1000 steps higher than being an actress. But modern world still has that stigma, that’s confusing.
