Mandy Lam’s Dieting Tips

Mandy Lam (林淑敏) was at a promotional event today for a health brand and she shared her tips for keeping her figure. The Come Home Love: Lo and Behold <愛·回家之開心速遞> star had participated in Miss Hong Kong 2000 and still looks fabulous at 42 years old thanks to a sensible diet.

“Firstly, you need to utilize your diet to maintain your figure rather than relying on medication or diet pills. As well, cutting out sugar and fried food is important. Lastly, you should eat fruits every day,” Mandy said.

When asked what her goals were for the New Year, she stated that she wanted to work on improving herself. Although she had won Best Supporting Actress at the 2018 TVB Anniversary Awards for her performance in Come Home Love: Lo and Behold, Mandy still believes that there is room for improvement, especially in comedic roles. “If I do not improve and constantly show the same side of me, the audience would get tired! It’s important to constantly find new inspiration and reinvent yourself.” She shared that she has been re-watching Stephen Chow’s (周星馳) movies to gain insight on how to improve her acting skills.
