Moses Chan, Jessica Hsuan Film “Armed Reaction 2020”

TVB drama Armed Reaction 2020 <陀槍師姐2020> starring Moses Chan (陳豪), Jessica Hsuan (宣萱), Bella Lam (林穎彤), Bob Cheung (張彥博), Derek Wong (黃建東), and Raymond Chiu (趙永洪) has started filming. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the crew has been carefully scouting safe filming locations and the cast is taking due precaution.

Moses shared that as an actor, it is not possible to wear a face mask during filming, but he takes hygiene very seriously. Since filming mostly takes place in open space, he is not too scared of infection because he knows everyone is being very cautious during this time. After he goes home, he will take a shower and change his clothes before playing with his children.

Jessica shared, “I’m keeping a relaxed attitude because a face mask can only do so much in prevention. I believe Hong Kong is already containing the situation really well. I use a reusable cloth face mask, so when I go home, I usually wash and then sanitize it. I do have disposable masks for emergency use, but I don’t want to buy up all the disposable face masks because I would rather save them for those who really need them. There’s no need to panic. I rarely go out anyway aside from filming.”

With many Hong Kongers staying home when possible, the restaurant and beverage industries are suffering the most. Moses’ coffee shop saw a sharp decline in revenues, and he has approached the landlord about lowering his shop lease amount. Moses believes that he and his employees can fight through the hard times. Since his store only has four employees, he makes sure to offer them good benefits so that they are happy working for him.

Local schools have remained closed since the Lunar New Year holiday through March 16. Moses’ children have not been idle at home as his wife, Aimee Chan(陳茵媺), has been entertaining them at home through baking, cooking, and doing homework together.
