Park Min Young Tweaked Her Nose Again?

Park Min Young‘s appearance at yesterday’s W Korea’s breast cancer awareness campaign, “LOVE YOUR W,” is generating a lot of buzz. Netizens were shocked by the 34-year-old’s weird-looking nose in the photos released by the organizer, spurring speculations that the Hallyu actress underwent plastic surgery again.

Dressed in a teal-colored dress with a black turtleneck underneath, Min Young looked fashionable and glamorous. However, her nose stole the show, and it became the highlight of discussion as a netizen wondered if a tweaking procedure had gone wrong. On the other hand, some believed that her nose looked off because of the lighting and bad camera angles. They even pulled out a photo that Min Young posted on Instagram six days ago to prove that she still looked the same.

In the past, Min Young, who is known for possessing an angelic face and a hot figure, confidently admitted that she is an acquired beauty and not the natural beauty that everyone assumed. Although fans gave her the title of “smiling goddess” due to her charming eye smile, Min Young revealed that she had gotten double eyelid surgery. She also went under the knife for her nasal bone to fix her crooked nose because her mom wanted her to look beautiful.

Although such revelation is usually met with criticism and backlash, the actress is one of the lucky ones, as it did not affect her popularity. Instead, her open-minded attitude was positively received and appreciated by the public. She even joked that she is “suitable for plastic surgery” because the results looked natural, there were no bad side effects, and she recovered super fast.

    1. @m0m0 I am not good at these things either but some of them are so obvious. This girl above is already very pretty compares to her old self not sure why they still need to do something. There was another Korean actress Im Soo-hyang. She looked really pretty back in her debut days but still you can tell she had some work done but still passably pretty but now you look at her, her nose is another new nose and she just odd and not at all normal looking. lol…haha Don’t forget Lee Da Hae was it? Not sure if she was pretty naturally before but now also she messed up all nose as well. All of these 3 that I know seem to be fixated on the nose. hahaha

i don’t think it is by choice. i heard that once you embark on the PS road, you just have to keep doing it. lt’s like the material deteriorates after a certain period of time or if they accidentally bumped into it and damage it then it warrants a replacement. i think this is the case why we see beautiful people suddenly get botched up.

  2. I don’t understand why someone would keep doing PS to the point where you look bad. She was good looking Healer, and still good looking in Secretary Kim. Now it’s so obviously it’s constructed. Sigh.

  3. she underwent surgery ‘because her mom wanted her to look beautiful’… it is truly disturbing and pathetic that a mother would undermine their child’s acceptance of herself because she doesn’t look perfect according to certain standards.

    1. @msxie0714 it is a very Korean thing. I heard most mothers in Korea will save up so that when their daughters are of age, they can go under the knife to look better.

I read that it’s a thing among Asian-American mothers in southern Calif as well. It’s so pathetic that such distorted values are so common among Asians on both sides of the pacific.

      2. @conan2209 You’re right. It’s a Korean thing. My friend who’s Korean said looks is so important. In Korea, they won’t hire you for a job if you’re not good looking. Plastic surgery is something they gift to young people as a graduation gift from their family and friends.
