Edwin Siu and Priscilla Wong Affectionate at “Madam Cutie on Duty” Promo

The main cast of the upcoming TVB romantic comedy Madam Cutie on Duty <師奶Madam>, including Edwin Siu (蕭正楠), Priscilla Wong (黃翠如), Mandy Wong (黃智雯), and Raymond Cho (曹永廉) gathered for a promotional event yesterday. Since Edwin and Priscilla started dating after filming the drama, the couple evidently became the highlight of the event.

Unable to contain their affection for one another, Edwin and Priscilla linked arms once onstage. The event host, Raymond Chiu (趙永洪), teased that the two were extremely sweet and organized a mock wedding for the couple by having them drink from nuptial cups. When teased about when he will ask for Priscilla’s hand in marriage, Edwin wittingly said, “We already got married in the drama!”

Edwin admitted that the series allowed him to know Priscilla better. “During filming, we were merely coworkers. After concluding filming, we got to know each other as friends. After some time later, we eventually began dating and officially became a couple.” Priscilla also revealed that they were quite unfamiliar with each other initially. “There was a scene where I had to vomit on him, but I couldn’t. So finally, he led me aside and taught me how to throw up.”

Valentine’s Day

It was widely speculated that the drama’s broadcast was delayed due to the rampant rumors between the couple. Edwin clarified that the broadcast date is determined by the company. Broadcasting before Valentine’s Day, however, is a relatively decent timeslot as well.

While performing the drama’s theme song, “I Always Be Yours,” Edwin was probed to reveal what he has prepared as a present for his girlfriend. Edwin smilingly said, “This song! She is very simple. This song is titled “I Always Be Yours”. It means that I will also belong to her. It is very meaningful!” In response to Edwin’s sweet declaration, Priscilla bashfully praised that he sang the song very well.

  1. I just started watching this series seems ok but Priscilla dont like how they styled her hair in this drama

    1. Yup. Agree. And I don’t like Edwin as a lead too. Poor tvb…. no one left…

  2. Barf, can’t stand Priscilla’s stiff acting and Edwin’s over exaggerating acting.

  3. she dont have stiff acting she’s ok…I rather see her then Sisley and Rebecca

  4. Priscilla is still young…so she can be cute without having to act as one. Edwin looks better in a serious drama. I like Hugo.

  5. Another horrible drama with horrible acting by Priscilla. Edwin is fine but Priscilla??? -.-“

    1. give her time…she is young and cute.
the hair makes her look like a poodle and she doesn’t have a rich girl look.

  6. I am also very disappointed with TVB’s choice of leads. Edwin is alright, but Priscilla?!? Whatever happened to Mandy Wong’s career?! Her acting deserves way more screen time than Priscilla’s.

  7. Edwin acting is getting better and better. This comedy is so far so good. Mandy playing her role as a housewife superb!! Priscilla is for me new, but i can see why tvb promote her so much. Nice looking girl to see on television. Esspecially when ze Smilde of giving a Sad face. One word ;CUTE!!

Ps: after watching cousin your so HEA and now madam houswife. Kaki Leung. You are doing great!! Big Improvement.

  8. When i see Priscilla’s acting is not stressful to me rather than Tavia Yeung, Kate Sui, Mandy Wong, Linda Chung etc. Priscilla’s acting is simple and natural. I like see her acting.
