Nicky Wu Wards off Female Fan’s Eager Advances
In 2016, golden couple Nicky Wu (吳奇隆) and Cecilia Liu (劉詩詩) tied the knot in a romantic beachside wedding in Bali. Recently, the couple welcomed their firstborn child, a baby boy. Perhaps learning from his first failed marriage with fellow actress Ma Yashu (馬雅舒), with whom he was married from 2006 to 2009, Nicky is an attentive and caring husband. Not only does he take good care of his wife, he is also known to spoil Cecilia.
After the birth of the couple’s baby, Cecilia was rumored to be suffering from postpartum depression. This prompted Nicky to be even more attentive and thoughtful of his wife, turning down multiple projects in order to spend more time with his family.
Recently, Nicky was seen attending an event. While on stage, there were two female fans who approached him for photos. Although Nicky obliged and politely stood in the middle between the two fans, one of the women forcefully tried to hold on to Nicky’s arm.
Unable to ward off the fan’s advances discretely, Nicky blatantly informed the female fan, “Hey, be careful there. I have a wife.”
His humorous, yet candidly firm response drew in much praise and compliments from netizens, who commended Nicky for being a loyal and good husband. One netizen wrote, “If you’re taking a picture, just take a picture. Why must you try to hold his arm?” Another commented humorously, “His desire to survive is very strong. But he and Cecilia are indeed very sweet together.”
Later, a fan stepped forward to supposedly clear up the matter, stating that the two women were not actually fans. In actuality, they are the chairmen of the event’s company. The company also published a statement to clarify the matter. “She was not trying to grasp his arm. It is just polite civility of lightly holding his elbow.”

I think Nicky is the rude one here. It’s just a picture of her slightly holding his elbow. There was no need for him to make such comment and embarrassed her.
i don’t think holding onto one’s elbow or arm while taking a photo is an advancement approach. it’s just a social gesture.
really he has female fans that wanna get jiggy with him he should be honored never fine him attractive now nor even when he was in TVB no idea what so popular about him
@sherla1019 LOL…So true. He was never attractive to begin with but he just got really lucky w/that time travel series that even my mom loved even thou time travels are not her genre. I never watched it but it’s like her and friends were giggling like school girls about it at the time while I was baffled on WTH is the attraction of the show??? LOL…haha…I remember asking HIM??? Awww…just the face alone does not cut it… lol… Some people get really lucky and I would say he’s one of them… already getting there at 40’s and made it big.
@wm2017 He was already super popular in his boy band days during the 90s. His ‘second spring’ came in his 40s with the time travel drama.

1. He didn’t get popular when he was younger for no reason. Did all those fans blind?
2. Their BBJX drama & his acting in the drama didn’t get popular for no reason either.
