Crystal Fung and Kaman Kong Bring Rivalry to TVB Anniversary Gala

As with every year, the TVB Anniversary Gala on November 19 was a star-studded event. After the live program of TVB’s 53rd anniversary came to an end, all the artistes gathered for a photo op, with the actor’s designated standing location usually determining their status at TVB. The highly coveted spots in the first row went to Kenneth Ma (馬國明), Wayne Lai (黎耀祥), Moses Chan (陳豪), Natalie Tong (唐詩詠), Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪), Elaine Yiu (姚子羚), Joel Chan (陳山聰), Sisley Choi (蔡思貝), Owen Cheung (張振朗), Kelly Cheung (張曦雯), Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), Mandy Wong (黃智雯), Edwin Siu (蕭正楠), Ali Lee (李佳芯), Pakho Chau (周柏豪), and Priscilla Wong (黃翠如). Meanwhile, up and coming actresses Crystal Fung (馮盈盈) and Kaman Kong (江嘉敏) both stood in the second row near the center.

Despite standing in close proximity, the former best friends ignored each other the whole time, fueling rumors of discord once again. Crystal and Kaman have reportedly been at odds since they attended rich second-generation Arnaldo Ho‘s (何猷亨) yacht party together and issued conflicting statements about the invitation to the press. Both knee-deep in social climbing allegations, it’s unsurprising that the two starlets refused to interact with one another at the gala.

During the group photo, singer-actor Hubert Wu (胡鴻鈞) stood between them, and afterward, Kaman, whose sexy outfit became a hot topic, kept chatting with him nonstop. On the other hand, Crystal walked off the stage with the help of her rumored boyfriend, Leonard Cheng (鄭衍峰). Unafraid of drawing attention, he was concerned about Crystal possibly tripping and held onto her dress. They then walked out of the studio together.

  1. i am quite impressed that they are able to hold large scale indoor celebrations standing packed shoulder to shoulder as if nothing is going on….

  2. Just surprised the amount of attention given to such low tier talent!?!?! Absolutely baffling. This is clearly their respective teams egging on the “media” to keep these names in the news cycle. Can’t imagine any significant quantity of people caring whether these two people like or hate each other.

  3. Not exactly similar to the TVB lead actress rivalries from the past. Just twi morons fighting over who finds the richest kid.

    1. @hetieshou I totally agree, There is a degree of maturity lacking in young people today.

This is off topic , so please forgive me. I tried to answer your question on who are the two boys who were in love and ripped apart by managers, studios and sponsor , but I could not type on that page.. You asked who they were. I am referring to Xu Junhao, Jake Hsu, and Wu Chengyang, Chris Wu from History 3 Trapped.

  4. Not sure what’s with all the negative sentiment against these two. Sure, it’s petty to fight in public over something so small, but better to make it clear they are no longer on friendly terms than to pretend to be friends? I mean, look at Carina Lau and Rosamund Kwan – they had public spats. Look at Jessica Hsuen and Maggie Cheung, they had issues with one another. Are these two big enough celebrities to garner this much interest? Probably not, but it sure got you guys over here to read their news, so I guess it is newsworthy after all.

In any case, it’s sad they were good friends and now they’re not. There’s a lot of insinuations going on and nobody really knows the full story. I don’t want to take sides but to let some silly news impact a good friendship is definitely a loss to both.
