Cecilia Cheung Leaves Hospital After Giving Birth

The shocking news of Cecilia Cheung (張柏芝) giving birth to a baby boy surfaced yesterday. The 38-year-old allegedly has been dating a 65-year-old Singaporean businessman and became pregnant at the start of the year. Giving birth on November 25 at the Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital, Cecilia has already secretly left the hospital.

Yesterday, Cecilia’s mother was spotted at the hospital, but she didn’t respond to questions about Cecilia’s new baby, only stating that she was there for a medical checkup. However, the hospital continued to be swamped by reporters eager to see if more of Cecilia’s friends and family may show up.

A large number of reporters also waited outside Cecilia’s residence in the Tai Po district, but the actress didn’t make an appearance.

Asked if Cecilia has already left the hospital, good friend Eugina Lau (劉美娟) said, “I don’t know!” Pinky Cheung (張文慈) replied, “Sorry, I don’t really know and can’t respond right now.” Both Eugina and Pinky were initially shocked to hear that Cecilia had given birth, but admitted they haven’t seen her for close to a year and weren’t in the loop.

Cecilia’s manager, Emily, continued to evade press calls and didn’t directly deny or confirm the news.

  1. I am a little confused why she chose to give birth in HK if she did not want the publicity.

Doesnt she live in Singapore? Are health services not on par with HK? Why return to HK to give birth, then she quietly leaves the hospital and her mum wont respond to questions? Its all very bizarre!!!

exactly, i raised the same question. if she really wanted to be steal about it. hk is definitely not a good choice at all.

She has left Singapore n moved back to HK for some time already. So not surprising that she choose to give birth in HK since She’s already living in HK. Plus she probably has her preferred OBgyn in Hk compared to some stranger. After all HK sanatorium Hospital is renowned in HK being one of the top delivery hospitals in Hk.

  2. Yes, it’s all very strange to me. Selective attention seeking??? Guess we will have to wait and see when more news comes out about her new bub and father of child.

  3. If her new baby daddy are so rich why not just moved in with him and give birth around where he live that way it’s even more private and I am wonder too how come her baby daddy is not accompanied her while she’s in the hospital? Unless he’s already left with the baby before the reporter came by the hospital?

  4. Too many nody beaks who thrive on speculating the worst of celebrities…go get a life!

  5. All male Singaporeans need to do complusory 2 years national service.
I would choose to give birth elsewhere if I were her too.
