Jackson Lai’s Wife Gives Birth
Though each have significant others, TVB artistes Jackson Lai (黎振燁) and Ashley Chu (朱智賢) were caught cheating and having a secret date in April. The public was shocked as Jackson’s wife was about to give birth, and Ashley was already dating Brian Tse (謝東閔). Both have since been forgiven by their respective partners and trying to put the cheating scandal behind them. With the birth of Jackson’s son this week, the actor accepted a short interview with the press to give an update on his family life.
Earlier during a prenatal checkup, test results had shown that the umbilical cord was circling their baby’s neck. Jackson and his wife decided to schedule a Cesarean section with their designated obstetrician to ensure the safety of mother and child. Jackson’s wife gave birth on Wednesday around 10 p.m. at a private hospital to a seven-pound healthy baby boy. Luckily, the umbilical cord had loosened just in time for birth, and the actor personally cut the cord.
The entire experience was wondrous for the couple, and his wife was so happy that she cried. Hospital staff feel that the baby looks like his father and pointed out that he also has a big head! They have not thought of a name yet.
Sharing a photo of himself and his newborn son on his private social media account, Jackson expressed that he was happy, nervous, and excited about his son’s birth. He likes children and hopes to have another child, but due to financial concerns, it will not be anytime soon.
His wife is still weak, but she is eating light meals and hopes to breastfeed soon. Jackson will be able to help out, as he has a bit of experience with raising children as there are a few children within his family.

Anyone realize Jackson wife name was never mentioned? It’s always says Jackson wife. She must be very private since we don’t even know her name at all. Hopefully he’ll change after becoming a father.

@hetieshou Nah, an asshole doesn’t change because of a baby. An ***hole only changes when he hits rock bottom. He’s not at rock bottom yet. He still has the love and support of his, god have mercy, forgiving wife and now, the affection of a newborn too. Plus, he’s still good-looking. So, he either needs a scar on that face/ gain weight or to be left by wifey and baby.

Well you never know as everyone makes mistakes in life and some do change for the better but it is in the minority. I have seen who really change for the better, however, many of them will not change for anyone sadly.
TVB must not condone actors/actresses who do not show any morals
An actor should be professional and there should be a line segregating acting from real life. Think of all the wives/children whose father (actor) selfishly think of himself.
TVB should give him the walking papers once and for all.
