Jacqueline Wong’s Latest Updates

Jacqueline remains unreachable despite TVB’s recent decision to air her drama during prime-time.

Actress Jacqueline Wong’s (黃心穎) scandal with Andy Hui (許志安) left a shattering aftermath. Her dramas, such as Forensic Heroes 4 <法證先鋒Ⅳ>, The Offliners <堅離地愛堅離地>, The Maid Alliance <丫鬟大聯盟> were either suspended or re-shot with her scenes deleted. However, TVB recently announced that Finding Her Voice <牛下女高音>, originally a drama shelved indefinitely, will be aired as part of the station’s Anniversary lineup. This raised the question of whether Jacqueline will return to Hong Kong to promote the drama.

Jacqueline Remains Elusive

Recent news highlighted that though TVB did not need Jacqueline to attend publicity events for Finding Her Voice, she may do an apologetic interview to boost her image. Yet TVB management, production and advertising personnel have been unable to get in touch with the 30-year-old actress, who is believed to be in the United States.

Other rumors claim that Jacqueline has decided to quit the entertainment industry, and changed her English name to Rachel to become a real estate agent. She reportedly hopes to start a new life in the United States, and is primarily involved in doing business with Americans while avoiding the local Chinese population.

Relationship Over with Kenneth Ma

According to another version of the rumors, Jacqueline no longer harbors any hope about restarting her career in Hong Kong entertainment. After the cheating scandal, she asked boyfriend Kenneth Ma (馬國明) for forgiveness and they had a six-month cooling period during which they maintained contact daily. However, Kenneth eventually decided breaking up with Jacqueline.

Hurt and fearing repercussions from the public if she returned to Hong Kong, Jacqueline decided after much consideration to remain in the United States.

Strong Interest in Real Estate

While it is uncertain if Jacqueline has really made the switch to become a property agent, she has interest in real estate. She had on two occasions spent a combined amount of 20 million HKD on properties within five years. Besides Hong Kong, Jacqueline and her sister Scarlett Wong (黃心美) had also acquired a 600-square-feet property in Vancouver at cost of $4.2 million HKD in 2016.

  1. please go away permanently. it’s not like acting is the only thing she can rely on for a career or livelihood. she has a bachelor’s, she has a master’s, just go do something else. never really liked her anyway, have always felt she’s full of pretenses
