Johnson Lee is “Very Attracted” to Joey Meng
New co-stars Joey Meng (萬綺雯) and Johnson Lee (李思捷) are cozying up on set during the shooting for their new TVB drama Ox Head Loves Horse Mouth <牛頭愛搭馬嘴>, a witty comedy drama that also stars Oscar Leung (梁烈唯) and Rebecca Zhu (朱晨麗).
Though the TVB drama was their first collaboration, it did not take long for Joey and Johnson to find their spark and chemistry. According to the tabloids, Joey and Johnson have been frequently seeing each other on and off work. Johnson would offer to drive Joey home after work, and the two were always seen together during meal breaks. Johnson also appeared to be quite clingy to Joey, often putting his arm over Joey’s shoulders and giving her back hugs. Joey was also seen crossing arms with Johnson while on their way to work.
A crew member from the set of their drama claimed that the 39-year-old Johnson is “very attracted” to 43-year-old Joey, who the crew member described to be “cute, like a big kid”. Joey’s personality is a stark contrast from Johnson’s previous girlfriends, all who reportedly had a wilder side. “They’re always together. You’ll never see them apart,” the crew member said.
Johnson was not the only costar Joey managed to attract. Michael Miu (苗僑偉), Joey’s A Change of Heart <好心作怪> costar, also had nothing but good things to say about Joey when they were working together last year. Rumors say that Michael’s wife Jaime Chik (戚美珍) was not very pleased with Micheal and Joey’s close relationship, which became one of the reasons why Michael rarely participated in the promotions for A Change of Heart.
Joey and Johnson Not Afraid of Romantic Rumors
Johnson responded to questions regarding his relationship with Joey directly, and even admitted that he has been having a great time shooting Ox Head Loves Horse Mouth. He also said, “I promised Joey that she would have her best TVB filming experience with this drama. I took care of her the most. I am single, with no girlfriend, so there’s no need for me to avoid [her]. Her husband also told me to take care of her.”
He added again that he is not afraid of creating romantic rumors with Joey, saying, “They are so full of love! She talks about her husband all the time. If something was really going on between us, we wouldn’t be showing that much affection in public. We wouldn’t talk about ourselves on our Weibos.”
Joey also said she is not afraid of rumors with Johnson, saying, “Only [the media] is making the rumors! We do chat a lot, but we chat about the drama.”
The filming of Ox Head Loves Horse Mouth will be completed by the end of the month, in time before the Lunar New Year.

He really should stop flirting around and giving the media plenty of ammo on him. Out of the trio he is suffering the most in terms of popularity and will garner an even more negative reputation as time wore on. Makes you wonder why he continues to court controversy especially with a married woman who is well liked by the audience.
