Synopsis of TVB’s “Ghost of Relativity”

Produced by Steven Tsui (徐正康), TVB’s new supernatural romantic comedy Ghost of Relativity <鬼同你OT> premieres on July 13th and will be broadcast daily at 9:30p.m. The 28-episode series stars Moses Chan (陳豪), Kristal Tin (田蕊妮), Nancy Wu (胡定欣), Eddie Kwan (關禮傑), Pierre Ngo (敖嘉年), Vivien Yeo (楊秀惠), Ram Chiang (蔣志光), and Mimi Chu (朱咪咪).

Newly hired architect, Suen Shuk Mui (Kristal Tin), runs into trouble and results in the loss of senior architect Timmy Mai’s (Moses Chan) chance of winning an important international award. The company’s administration manager, Keung Yung (Nancy Wu), instantly fires Shuk Mui for her mishap. Unfortunately, Shuk Mui’s cellphone had an electrical leakage and later kills Keung Yung by accident. She then experiences a series of bizarre events and realizes Keung Yung’s soul is trapped in her cellphone. As a result, Shuk Mui is the only one who can see the ghost of Keung Yung.

Having always had a crush on Timmy, Keung Yung provides an excuse for Shuk Mui to return to the architect company. With her help, Shuk Mui finds success and the women share a close friendship. Keung Yung later finds out that the company’s general manager Benjamin Lee (Eddie Kwan) and director Fala Law (Vivien Yeo) are plotting an evil conspiracy. Fortunately with the help of IT hacker, Ngai Tit Man (Ram Chiang), the company is able to temporarily shy away from their schemes.

Shuk Mui and Timmy begin to develop romantic feelings towards each other, making Keung Yung jealous. But as a ghost, Keung Yung’s existence is closely linked to Shuk Mui’s cellphone – as soon as its battery wears out, she would have to disappear. Having been raised to a high position only because of Keung Yung, Shuk Mui is also in the risk of losing everything at any given moment….
