Wong Cho Lam and Leanne Li Welcome Arrival of Baby Girl
Leanne Li (李亞男) and Wong Cho Lam (王祖藍) are thrilled with the birth of their daughter, Gabrielle, on December 17. The baby was delivered via Cesarean section to accommodate Cho Lam’s busy work schedule, since the 38-year-old actor wanted to make sure he would be available to go into the delivery room with his wife and witness their daughter’s birth.
The delivery went very smoothly and was over in over ten minutes. Playing Jacky’s Cheung‘s (張學友) song, “Love You More Each Day” <每天愛你多一些> in the labor room, the baby was already born after the song finished playing.
Born a healthy 7.1 pounds, the baby possesses eyes and long limbs like mommy. Cho Lam revealed, “Her nose and mouth resembles me. I heard girls completely change by the time they’re 18. I’ll pray for her and hope that she grows up to look more like mommy. Is everyone very concerned she’ll look like me? I’m also very worried, but I believe she’ll look more like mommy.”
Since Leanne gave birth via Cesarean section, her wound has been giving her pain. Cho Lam said, “Leanne is very happy each time she looks at our daughter. She’s breastfeeding now. I felt that I got married with the right wife; she’s a great mom.”
After Leanne’s postpartum confinement, the couple will take a trip to Japan. “Leanne hasn’t eaten sushi for a whole year [due to pregnancy].” After Leanne heals completely, Cho Lam is interested in chasing after another baby.
