Ruby Lin Carries Dog in Designer Bag
Several days ago, Ruby Lin (林心如) shared that her dog has gained weight on her Weibo account. The photo showed the dog being carried in a luxury purse. Fans pointed out that the purse was worth approximately 200,000 TWD and accused Ruby of showing off her wealth.
Ruby denied these claims and explained that she simply wanted to share a tidbit about her daily life and connect with her fans more. Upset by the accusations, Ruby responded, “When you hide behind a computer screen to criticize someone, think about whether this will hurt the other person. After you’ve typed the words, please take a moment to contemplate them.”
Ruby is Still Single?
Ruby recently attended a promotional event for a watch brand. Despite countless dating rumors, Ruby has insisted on her single status. With Chinese Valentine’s Day approaching on August 20, Ruby hopes to gift her parents with a set of watches before starting to film for her new drama.
Ruby joked that since her mother is aware of her habit of buying herself presents for Valentine’s Day, she will ask Ruby what she wants. “I will say I don’t want anything. I have everything that I need. She’ll respond and say ‘But you don’t have anyone give it to you, so I’ll just send you flowers’. I would jokingly respond ‘good idea’!”

Her dog, her bag, her money. She can do whatever she want. That being said, her criticism is also unfair. If you decide to post something, get ready for backlash. The backlash isn’t really OTT, after all money is money but well, she is rich. She can do whatever she wants within her own limitations.

True that she can do whatever she wants,but I guess some people like grounded and more humble people like Tony Leung,Chow Yun Fat, Jacky Cheung,etc… They are all way richer than Ruby is,but are frugal, humble and live a more simple lifestyle. Just because you have money does not mean you need to show off,but hey each to their own.
But I do wonder,isn’t she concerned about her dog going to the restroom in her bag? Hm….
@hetieshou Why comparing them and make it seem like one lifestyle is better than the other? As long as she lives within her means and works for her own money she has my support. Also don’t pretend that Tony leung and chow yun fat don’t go on lavish vacations (nothing wrong with that and they can clearly afford that) because they do. Just because they have a lot more than they spent doesn’t make them better than anyone, it’s not like they give all their wealth away either.

If ruby lin carring a dog in vinyl bag, I bet “someone” will say

Shouldn’t the criticism be aimed at the fact that she is carrying a dog around in her handbag than however much hey bag is worth?! She’s a high earning celeb, of course she is going to have absurdly costly handbags.

That’s a cute baby! I think that bag is just a handbag to Ruby which her dog happens to fit into. I don’t think she uses the bag just to exclusively carry her dog around. Lots of people carry dog in their handbag, especially small dogs in crowded places because they can get scared or trodden on. I see them in the train sometimes. As long as the doggy is not hurt or mistreated, I don’t see a problem with her transporting it in a handbag.
