Zhang Ziyi’s Son Turns One Month

The current coronavirus outbreak was not unavoidable, said the star.

Having welcomed her second child at the start of the year, international actress Zhang Ziyi’s (章子怡) newborn son recently turned one-month old.

Marking the occasion, the actress shared a photo which revealed her baby’s feet along with her fancy nail art which read “2020” on social media, and reflected on the current state of the novel coronavirus outbreak.

Situation Was Not Unavoidable, “No Remedy for Foolishness”

In her heartfelt post, Zhang expressed sadness that the very first month of the new year has been fraught with the challenge of the virus outbreak, with “the joy and beauty of reunion erased by this sudden pandemic.”

With the threat to health and safety leaving everyone pained, Zhang shared her opinion that the suffering now was not an inevitable episode. She wrote, “At this point do people already clearly know where this pain and suffering came from? Have they learned the lesson from the episode and be reminded forever?”

Seeing things from the perspective of a mother educating her newborn, she said that she longed to tell her child that mankind managed to defeat the pandemic not long after it broke out, and also make him understand that “there are cures for lots of illnesses in our world, but no remedy for foolishness.” The 40 year old concluded her reflections on a hopeful note, wishing that the next generation would not have to “experience the pain we are going through now in the future.”

Exactly and I bet she will stay in the US until this pandemic dies down. She is so selfish and just wants her and her own family safe while not caring about anyone. But yet preaches this and that like she cares so much. What a bunch of BS!

  1. Despite her hypocritical actions, I think what she says here is definitely true. “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” And this has happened twice.
