Despite struggling in his early career, Philip Keung (姜皓文) has made great strides in film in recent years. Aside from being nominated for Best Actor at the Hong Kong Film Awards this year, the 52-year-old impressed viewers in TVB crime thriller The Defected (鐵探). With a thriving career, Philip splurged on a luxury 5000-square-feet home in Penang, Malaysia.
In 2017, Philip purchased the home as a gift for his wife Anna Kam (殷寧) to celebrate their 18th wedding anniversary. The most stunning feature of their home is the pool, which features a spectacular view of the sea. The couple often spends their mornings sitting by the pool and enjoying breakfast.
This past Lunar New Year holiday, Philip and Anna invited their family and friends to their Penang home to celebrate the holidays. Their social media photos revealed the house as tastefully designed with a modern edge. The patio is generous in size and can accommodate over 30 people in a gathering.
Due to the exorbitant real estate prices in Hong Kong, many celebrities have decided to buy properties in nearby Malaysia instead due to the good value and luxurious amenities. As it only takes four hours to fly to Malaysia, Philip and Anna can easily enjoy their Penang home on a long weekend getaway.

@anon I don’t think they would splurge so much money on a vacation home. They’re probably planning on retiring here and making this their permanent home eventually. But for now it’s a vacation home.

I didn’t really care for the Defected series so I can’t really say how great his acting is and really don’t know him. But wow!! Beautiful wife? A celeb?
@wm2017 you should give a try to watch that drama it’s pretty interesting and I have to say he is a great actor if you know Timothy Cheung Philip acting are similar like his maybe? I feel like I needed to cry where the scenes they kill Matt and Philip well maybe Matt part are more sadder?

5000sft must be a bungalow or semi d? Surprised to see Philip buying a property in Penang instead of other more high profile areas like spore, Bali or phuket, I guess it’s because the price is low and the Chinese population in Penang?
