Etta Ng Opens Up Her Own Business with Girlfriend

Elaine Ng’s (吳綺莉) controversial daughter Etta Ng (吳卓林) is back to topping headlines in Hong Kong.

According to a new report, Etta and her girlfriend Andi Autumn, both who are now residing in Toronto, have started their own business, a filming studio called “UCHU hause” to do photoshoots for clients. The space is quite small—at only 13.5 feet by 7.75 feet—but it’s a good start.

In the studio’s official Facebook group, both Etta and Andi introduced themselves as the boss of UCHU hause. As a new business, UCHU hause have relatively cheap starting prices, with the base package costing only C$10.

  1. I thought they were living on the streets? Now they have money to open a business in Canada? Cameras, lights, lenses aren’t cheap by any means.

  2. Precisely. I was thinking the exact same. 😛
From living under Vancouver bridges to affording rent … and even getting out to Toronto (flying ain’t cheap from Van-Toronto).

On the UPside, at least she’s doing something. Rather than going on and on about her mom who’s trying and coping with her own issues, or her dad who completely can’t be bothered whether she’s dead or alive.
ie getting beyond her self-pity woe is me. hopefully whether her business succeeds or fails – she learns something, and matures.

So Ella’s the MAN in the relationship? LOL! 😛

  3. I was thinking the same thing too. Maybe Mr. Chan give them some money in private you never know or maybe someone out there donate some money to them and they save up to open up a business? Well either way it’s just a little confusing.

  4. Looks like all they bought was the light and curtain. The price listing specifies that the clients have to bring their own cameras. They may also be operating the “studio” in their own apartment.

    1. @krys327 you are observant. You could be right about them opening the studio in their own apartment. They will still have to pay business tax, but it saves them rent. They seem to have done it on the cheap so the business did not need a huge amount of money to get off the ground. Well, I wish the business well, for Etta’s sake, and I hope she can grow and mature. I’m hoping that she patches thing up with her mom as she only has one parent.
